REDEEM does not store any personal or medical information. Using ID.me Information is retained by the VA which complies with HIPAA, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and Privacy Act requirements. All data is encrypted and stored in secure government systems.

Only authorized VA personnel and providers directly involved in your care can access your records. You can manage permissions through My HealtheVet. REDEEM is a conduit to the VA web system.
